A record-breaking year and launch in the Northwest

We’ve had another hugely successful academic year.

In London we reached a record number of students - 197 cohorts, which means over 5500 students went through our programme.

We also launched in the West Midlands, from our hub in Birmingham. There we hit our target of 60 cohorts and we also launched in Coventry and Walsall with our first volunteers in those areas. We’re looking forward to expanding our West Midlands operation to other areas next year and increasing our volunteer base.

In Oxford our work also launched successfully, with growing numbers of volunteers and an excellent response from schools.

We’re also delighted to be starting out in the Northwest, with our new regional coordinator based in Manchester.

All in all it’s been a very busy year, and we’re delighted that schools and students continue to enjoy the programme. Here are some comments from our partner schools:
